Mama Hoer's raw date nut crumble, perfect as a sweet topping or sweetener for oatmeal, yogurt, and other dishes. The combination of dates and nuts creates an amazing, crumbly texture.
1. Pulse walnuts and almonds together in a food processor until they form fine chunks. Be careful not to process too long, as you don't want a paste. Set the mixture aside.
2. In the same food processor, pulse the medjool dates until they are in small chunks. It's okay if they become sticky, just don't continue to process them further.
3. Return the processed nuts to the food processor. Add the cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
4. Process all ingredients together until they are well combined and achieve a crumbly texture.
5. Store the date nut crumble in a jar in your fridge. It should last for about one to two months. Enjoy!
