25 mins prepServes 4
A healthy, easy, and quick Greek bowl recipe featuring flavorful meatballs, a creamy homemade tzatziki sauce, and fresh vegetables. This dish is simple to make and perfect for a balanced dinner.
1. Preheat oven to 400F. Add your breadcrumbs and milk into a large bowl and mix. Add the onion, garlic, lemon, spices and herbs. Crack in your egg and mix until combined. Add your meat and use your hands to knead together but DO NOT over mix.
2. Scoop the mixture into your hands and form 1 inch balls. Place onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes. To get them browned, flip and broil for 2-3 minutes after baking.
3. While the meatballs are baking, make your tzatziki sauce. Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl until combined. Chop up your veggies for your bowl.
4. Assemble. Add your chopped tomato, cucumber, onion, and lettuce to your bowls. Add your meatballs and top with feta, fresh dill and a generous amount of tzatziki. Add some warm pita and enjoy!
