Stop buying your hummus from the store!!! Instead use this simple, easy-to-make recipe for yummy hummus and know exactly what ingredients are inside :) Nothing fancy, just creamy goodness. Great for dipping veggies, adding to salads or making sandwiches! Takes 10 minutes or less.

Instructions

1. In a bowl, combine the tahini and lemon juice and “whip” with a whisk until smooth.
2. Open, drain, and rinse the chickpeas. Add chickpeas, lemon/ tahini mixture, garlic, olive oil, cumin and salt. Process or blend on high and scrape the sides down when needed.
3. Add a tablespoon at a time of water while processing the hummus. Do not add more than 3 tbsp. This will give the hummus a creamier consistency and allow it to blend better. Taste and adjust the hummus seasoning as needed.
4. Plate the hummus. Sprinkle paprika/ sumac over and garnish with green onion (optional). Finish with a bit of olive oil. Enjoy!!
